At Edgewood Aesthetics the goal is not perfection, but just the right amount of subtle improvement to provide improved confidence and self esteem. This is the feeling I would love to instill in everyone who walks in to Edgewood Aesthetics. When you feel good you tend to do good. About Michelle Pieper

I have been a Family Practice Physician Assistant for fifteen years, twelve of which have been in my current practice at Edgewood Family Physicians. I am intrigued by the progress and advances happening in the non-surgical/non-invasive aesthetic medicine field and have been for the past couple of years. With medical advances and the increasing knowledge of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, we are living longer, fuller, more active lives, and there is heightened interest in improving the health and appearance of our skin as well.

After a bit of research I decided to invest in a training program offered by the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. I chose IAPAM because they were the only program that had board certified dermatologists on their teaching faculty and they also provide on going practice support to ensure I am aware of the latest industry news.

I still plan to continue to work part time in the capacity of a Family Practice PA because there is a unique fulfillment in serving others and the medical field is ever changing, challenging, and fascinating to me. The addition of Aesthetics to my medical knowledge base has brought a whole new platform of information and opportunity to allow me to better serve the community.
